Scholarship Based on Admission Application
Scholarships for New, First Year International Students – Colorado State University, USA
These scholarships are for international applicants seeking admission for Spring or Fall. To be considered, students must submit a complete Application for Admission (including transcripts, essay, letter of recommendation, and processing fee) and meet specific academic criteria by November 1 for Spring or February 1 for Fall. Notification of scholarship awards begins mid-October and continues through March.

To be eligible for scholarships, students must:
- Be registered full time
- Be new, first-year students and have not attended another college or university after high school (secondary) graduation, and prior to enrollment at Colorado State.
- Scholarships are for students seeking a degree through CSU’s main campus (not CSU Online) and require enrollment in on-campus credits.
- Scholarships are not awarded to students starting in the summer session.
- Sponsored students are not eligible for these awards.
- Merit scholars who meet the selection and renewal criteria may receive this award for up to a total of eight (8) semesters, or until their degree is complete, whichever comes first.
Renewal: students must maintain 3.0 GPA and Satisfactory Academic Progress. These students may receive this award for up to a total of eight (8) semesters, or until their degree is complete, whichever comes first.
